Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Clinical Supervision: Provide regular supervision to clinical staff, including therapists and case managers, to ensure high-quality care and adherence to best practices.
- Program Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the behavioral health program, ensuring that services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
- Compliance: Ensure that all clinical practices comply with state and federal regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures.
- Client Care: Monitor and evaluate client treatment plans and outcomes, providing guidance and support to clinical staff as needed.
- Staff Development: Facilitate ongoing training and professional development opportunities for clinical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Crisis Management: Assist with crisis intervention and management, providing support to staff and clients during emergency situations.
- Documentation: Ensure that all clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and meets regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, community partners, and stakeholders to support comprehensive client care.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance program effectiveness and client outcomes.
- Licensure: Current and valid LISW-S, LPCC-S, or LIMFT-S license in the State of Ohio.
- Education: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Skills: Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to mentor and support clinical staff. Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively engage with staff, clients, and external partners.
- Technology: Proficient in using electronic health records and other relevant software applications.
- Personal Attributes: Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to high-quality client care. Strong ethical standards and integrity.
- Physical Demands: The position requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds may be necessary.
- Work Environment: The work environment is primarily in an office setting with occasional travel to off-site locations for meetings or client visits. The supervisor may encounter stressful situations and must be able to handle them with professionalism and composure.
