SUMMARY

The Youth Admin supports C3’s Youth Director by providing administrative, organizational and system support. The Youth Admin will work with Operations to run point in collaborating with the Youth Director, volunteers, and other church staff in organizing and executing events and activities that give students an opportunity to connect with each other, their leaders and God both inside and outside of the Sunday morning and Wednesday night experiences.


PRIMARY DUTIES

  • First point of contact for Youth Ministry (answer phones and e-mails, distribute incoming information appropriately).
  • Admin assistance to Youth Director
    • Meet with the Youth Director regularly on a daily basis.
    • Assist with calendar management for the Youth Director.
    • Monitor and respond to Youth e-mail account.
    • Keep the Youth Director on track by assisting with scheduling time to reach goals and milestones.
    • Assist Youth Director with monthly expense reporting.
  • Coordinate Youth Crew (small group) systems and collaborate with Operations to implement a smooth, effective registration and reporting system.
  • Ensure Youth events are accurately processed through Operations for calendaring and setup.  Serve as the point of contact for event setup.  Coordinate planning of summer events and other outside activities, including scheduling facility needs and volunteers.
  • Youth volunteer management
    • Initial recruitment of Youth volunteers.
    • Weekly scheduling of volunteers in the church database.
    • Stock and purchase snacks and beverages for Youth volunteers.
    • Coordinate the Wednesday night and Sunday morning speaking teams.
    • Coordinate Wednesday night and Sunday morning hosts, including communicating script details.
    • Wednesday Night VIP Station Oversight
      • Coordinate Pre-Service Community scheduling for Wednesday nights.
      • Make sure VIP station is stocked with bracelets, candy and applicable handouts.
  • Weekly communication to students, parents and leaders.
  • Be available to support C3 during events, services and other various responsibilities.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

Required Skills.

  • Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.  Projects a professional and confident image, able to handle a high-intensity work pace.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office apps (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and basic accounting.
  • Exemplary grammatical skills (writing, editing, proofreading).
  • Desire to learn new processes and systems.
  • Detail-oriented self-starter who constantly evaluates processes, makes suggestions, and implements improvements.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Ability to recruit, supervise, schedule a team of volunteers.
  • Ability to work in a multi-task environment.
  • A love for youth and desire to influence the next generation.

Responsible for upholding Biblical priorities and core values of C3 and has a growing personal relationship with Jesus as well as a strong relationship with their spouse (if married) and children (if applicable).  Strives to fulfill their purpose in life and ministry while demonstrating integrity in words, relationships, and actions.  These objectives are accomplished by:

  • Committing to a daily quiet-time with God.
  • Attending C3 every Sunday you are in town.
  • Participating in a C3 group on a regular basis.
  • Setting appropriate boundaries to protect character and integrity.
  • Developing personal evangelism opportunities within and outside the church.
  • Supporting the mission of C3 by faithfully tithing.
  • Adhering to and encompassing the qualities and characteristics required of C3 employees, as defined by the C3 Employee Manual.


Work Schedule (20 hours per week)

Mondays: 12pm-4pm

Tuesdays: 12pm-4pm

Wednesdays: 3pm-9pm

Thursdays: 12pm-4pm

Sundays: 9:30am-12pm
