West Loop Veterinary Care is in the heart of Chicago, just steps away from the bustle of downtown, the perfect location for anyone who is excited about everything the great city of Chicago has to offer. We are a thriving AAHA-accredited, AAFP-certified hospital with fear-free certified professionals looking for a growth-oriented veterinarian to join our collaborative team. We use our size to our advantage by often working on cases together, offering second opinions, and mentoring.
Our practice takes a relationship-based approach to practicing medicine. We encourage getting to know clients and their pets, taking time for thorough appointments, and truly show we care by following up on patients. Continual learning, a supportive team, and open communication across all hospital areas allow us to genuinely care for patients, our clients, and each other.
Our ideal candidate is friendly, positive, outgoing, thorough, dedicated to patient care and their profession, and enjoys practicing medicine as well as surgery and dentistry. Willingness to learn and grow is a must. The ideal candidate might have the goal of one day becoming a medical director or running their own hospital. We are looking for confident veterinarians who are looking to learn and expand their knowledge, and we are serious about providing that learning environment to our doctors. At West Loop you would benefit from the camaraderie, collaboration, and the opportunity to grow professionally and personally.
Experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
