SGI is seeking a Consultant with a focus on Resilience who can help grow our client's projects, goals, and initiatives.

Location:

This position will be a hybrid position, with a requirement to be in person in the DMV area 1-2 days per week. Occasional travel to both CONUS and OCONUS may be required (approx. 10% of time).

Description:

The Resilience Consultant will work with our client to help strategically assess resiliency gaps and develop solutions to close these gaps. As priorities shift within the government, we are being called to utilize innovative solutions to deliver advanced transactions to improve resilience to infrastructure at a best value, the management consultant will be a pivotal part of the project team.

Responsibilities:

  • As a Resilience Consultant focused on Resiliency, you will be responsible for: plan, research and create high quality resiliency solutions across our client's enterprise. The consultant will help to solve gaps and identify solutions at a best value to the enterprise.
  • The Resilience Consultant will collaborate with team leaders and clients to determine change readiness and sustainability of various stakeholder groups.
  • The Resilience Consultant will participate in the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract.
  • The Resilience Consultant will review deliverables for accuracy and quality.
  • The Resilience Consultant will effectively track change management activities against a project schedule and communicate schedule milestones and progress timely to senior stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience
  • Secret Government Clearance.
  • Experience identifying resiliency gaps and using innovative solutions to solve these gaps
  • Past experience leveraging third party financing and Enhanced Use Lease (Outlease) models to solve gaps.
  • Demonstrated experience working with 'Big 4' consulting firms and senior level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis, visualization, and budgeting of funds.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; to include Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand complex subjects and break down into something understandable for a variety of audiences.
  • Preferred; Desired skillsets includes energy resiliency, strategic planning, process design and improvement.
  • Preferred; Candidate will have experience working within DoD and understanding rank structure.
