Our four core programs include Afterschool Programming, Summer Camps, Youth Recreation, and The Learning Center Preschool.
The preschool program at the Boys Girls Club of Meriden provides care for children ages 3–5 years old and promotes positive relationships among all children and adults. Our curriculum is consistent with its goals for children and promotes development and learning in the following areas: social, physical, emotional, cognitive and language. Systematic, informal and formal assessments provide feedback on each child’s learning and development. We employ and support a teaching staff with the educational qualifications, professional commitment and knowledge necessary to promote children’s learning and development.
