Essential Job Functions: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience required
  • Insurance experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently or in a team setting
  • Must be able to pay attention to details
  • Intermediate level experience using MS Office, Excel, and Word
  • This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday

Description: 

  • Entering and verifying that all patient demographics and billing information are correct
  • Obtain hospital reports and send to be scanned into patient's medical records
  • Work ETM task edits and rejections
  • Add medical record numbers to dictation for coders
  • Extra assignments as assigned by coding supervisor
