Welders/ Industrial Maintenance


Location - Work occurs at mine sites, so travel is required and overnight stays

Pay $22 - $32.00/ hour (DOE)


Summary:

AKHIRE is currently recruiting a couple of Welders and Industrial Maintenance workers for the mines near Fairbanks. These positions will weld on numerous different machines and tanks.
  • Mine experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Work will typically be five consecutive 12 -hour shifts.
  • Work will entail assisting the general contractor with duties that range from construction to job cleanup.
  • Some work with require stay at the mines, and others would allow travel home daily.

  • You must have a valid drivers license.
  • MSHA certification is required of all workers. If you do not have MSHA we will train you.
  • You must pass a drug test, breathalyzer, and full background check.
