Position Overview: We seek a dedicated and experienced Controller to join our team and oversee the financial management of our multiple-location operation. The Controller will be responsible for our practice's accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare finance, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting operations and provide oversight and management support.
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Assisting with the design, implementation, and compliance of the organization's accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury, and working capital to support daily operations.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance across all locations, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Coordinate and oversee tax filings and other financial reporting obligations.
  • Assist with various activities and ad hoc requests associated with financial reporting.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in financial software systems such as QBO
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple locations and priorities.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; an MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
  • A CPA license is preferred
