Extrusion Operator

The Extrusion Operator position must be proficient in producing pet food kibble within a set specification.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Must have overall knowledge of Mill processing and ration flow.
• Must be proficient in product specifications.
• Must have overall knowledge of operating extruders, dryers, and coolers.
• Must be proficient at determining and regulating feed, fat, and water rates.
• Responsible to perform quality checks for product specifications including bulk density, piece size uniformity, moisture content, and nutrient content. Monitor the preconditioner CCP#1 temperature requirement (185 ℉ or higher).
• Must be proficient in the knowledge of the ration screener, regrind mill, and grinding bin capacities.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be able to work in hot temperatures.
• Must be able to work at heights.
