Responsibilities:
  • Establish standards for system functionality, quality, and design constraints to meet operational requirements.
  • Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, API documentation, and user manuals.
  • Design and implement new feature functionality as defined by the product owner.
  • Guide the implementation of operating systems, network configurations, and software applications as part of the solution.
  • Provide training to users on system operation and maintenance.
  • Engage in ongoing maintenance activities, including software upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Perform code reviews and system analyses to ensure software functionality, stability, scalability, and security.
  • Deliver all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in MES/MOM and SCADA to continually offer innovative solutions to clients.
  • Technical Support and development tasks related to:
    • Siemens Products.
    • Op-Center Execution.
    • Op-Center Connect.
    • Op Center Intellgence.
    • Siemens Digital Logistics.
    • Op-Center Intraplant Logistics.
    • Opcenter Advanced planning and logistics.
    • Opcenter RD&L.
    • Plant Simulation.
    • Xcelerator Share.
    • Xcelerator Quality.
    • Mendix.
Minimum qualification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, particularly with MES/MOM and SCADA systems.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and creative thinking for complex challenges.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments.
  • Keen attention to detail with a focus on delivering fully functional and high-quality solutions.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
  • A driven, enthusiastic approach, with a commitment to success and quality.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Specialized certifications in areas like systems architecture and project management.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Prior experience in the manufacturing or data center sectors.
  • Familiarity with specific industry challenges and best practices in MES/MOM and SCADA implementations.
  • Technical Expertise in Specific Technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge or certification in:
    • Siemens Opcenter.
    • Op-Center Execution.
    • Op-Center Connect.
    • Op Center Intellgence.
    • Siemens Digital Logistics.
    • Op-Center Intraplant Logistics.
    • Opcenter Advanced planning and logistics.
    • Opcenter RD&L.
    • Plant Simulation.
    • Xcelerator Share.
    • Xcelerator Quality.
    • Xcelerator Production Planning.
    • Inductive Automation's Ignition or other relevant MES/MOM and SCADA systems.
  • Experience with cloud computing solutions, IoT integration, and modern software development methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on system optimization and efficiency.
  • Eagerness to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and client needs.

  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
