Inside Sales & Customer Service Representative:


We are looking for a self-starter who works well with others in an energetic team environment, has the ability to take charge, and possesses a willingness to learn. The candidate must be organized, possess a strong attention to detail and strive to provide a great customer service experience.


ARG Industrial provides hydraulic hose, industrial hose, rigging, wire rope, hardware and associated industrial products for a wide variety of markets and industries. These include oil and gas, marine, construction, government, transportation, and others. The company delivers value through quality fabrication, product expertise and meaningful service throughout Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Northern Idaho. Job Responsibilities:

Answer all customer inquiries quickly and accurately in a positive manner.

Responsible for answering the phone and assisting front counter customers.

Research products and prices to best fit customer’s application and requirements.

Generate quotes, enter orders, contact vendors, update records and track orders as necessary through the ERP system.

Support Outside Sales and respond in a timely manner with price, availability, product specifications, order status and other information as required.

Attend product training and seminars if available.

Work with others to create a positive team environment.

Other duties assigned.


Successful candidate will possess:

Experience in customer service desired.

Good basic math skills and communications skills.

Willing to learn and teach as required to get the job done.

Must be attentive to detail.

Completes work assignments in a timely manner.

Reliable and dependable adherence to work schedule.

shift work assignment priorities when needed and as directed.
