Woodland Academy is looking for the perfect teacher to join our school family

Full-Time and Part-Time Preschool Teacher positions available.

As a teacher at Woodland Academy, you will...
  • Supervise and insure safety of children at all times
  • Teach the tenants of the Christian faith daily
  • Plan and implement an enriching, Reggio inspired curriculum that inspires and helps children develop and grow as individuals
  • Maintain an engaging, curated environment for children to explore and learn
  • Plan and implement FUN activities and projects that support children's learning in the areas of many different cultures, holidays and values.
  • Work with teaching team to set-up and maintain classroom.
  • Work with your mentor teacher and PD coaches to continually improve quality standards
  • Attend all staff meetings, professional development training, set up/clean up days and team planning meetings.
  • Have fun and MORE

    Qualifications and competencies:
  • CDA or ECE degree preferred
  • Completed mandated background checks
Working Conditions/Physical requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to:
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs
  • Physical ability to sit on the floor or low chair and to squat down to be at eye level with children for up to 15 minutes at a time
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to one hour at a time
  • Level of physical fitness that allows for keeping pace with the activity level of young children.
Must love learning and inspiring children to learn and grow.
