Who We're Looking For:

EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst FP&A. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in budgeting, forecasting, supporting finance/accounting transformation, reporting, and providing insightful analysis. This role ensures accurate financial projections and facilitates informed decision-making processes. The Sr. FP&A Analyst collaborates closely with various stakeholders to optimize departmental budgets, monitor performance, and drive strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do:
As a Senior Financial Analyst FP&A, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities:
 
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities affecting departmental performance.
  • Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Develop financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Drive analysis and evaluation of strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing business performance and achieving long-term objectives.
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage departmental budgets in alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to understand business needs and incorporate them into the budgeting process.
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and business drivers to formulate realistic budget assumptions.
  • Monitor budget variances and provide actionable insights to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Enhance reporting capabilities to present critical data and actionable insights to partners.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts to support short-term and long-term planning activities.
  • Utilize forecasting models and tools to predict key financial metrics.
  • Evaluate forecast accuracy and adjust assumptions based on changing business conditions and market dynamics.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to understand business needs and accurately forecast spending throughout the organization.
  • Communicate forecast updates and insights to stakeholders, highlighting potential impacts on departmental performance.
  • Enhance reporting capabilities to present critical data and actionable insights to partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to gather data, validate assumptions, and drive consensus on financial plans.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial goals, priorities, and strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to department heads, providing financial insights and recommendations to optimize performance.
  • Foster a culture of financial discipline and accountability across the organization through education and collaboration.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to provide financial support and analysis to drive forecast accuracy on membership growth.
  • Support the finance team’s transformation on to new platforms and reporting tools.
  • Prepare high quality presentations and financial analyses for executive-level audiences.
  • Summarize key insights, highlight strategic implications, and facilitate the decision-making process.
  • Oversee the consolidation of financial data from various sources.

What You Need:
  • B.S. in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum of 5+ years financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or related roles
  • Experience with financial systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and financial reporting – must be comfortable with financial data in excel – formulas in excel, ERP Systems experience specifically oracle reporting experience, system implementation experience is a huge plus. Someone who understands the ambiguity and is ready to blaze the path.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • PBM or Healthcare experience, preferred.
