Job DescriptionJob Description

SPA FACILITIES - POOL & HOT TUB TECHNICIAN- Mornings, able to work Weekends 7-10 hours a week

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all maintenance of facilities including hot tubs, grounds, and back of house operations. The successful Facilities Technician will be a self-starter with exceptional multitasking skills, and be willing to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Essential Duties

  • Perform daily maintenance of facilities and hot tub equipment including testing and cleaning
  • Perform duties to troubleshoot and maintain hot tubs and private soak and sauna suites
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs and occasionally provide emergency/unscheduled repairs
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments
  • Assist with performing regular preventive maintenance on an as needed basis
  • Maintain detailed records of service performed on all hot tubs and facilities
  • Responsible for recording and keeping logs of the pH levels in each hot tub

Other Duties

  • Provide superior customer service while encompassing The Remedy brand standards
  • Exhibit time management skills and ability to self-start, possess the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Possess an unflappable demeanor in time of high-stress and chaos
  • Display a genuine team spirit and flexible attitude
  • Be able to work scheduled shifts
  • Be available to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Communicate with all co-workers and guests in a friendly, professional manner
  • Complete side work and closing duties directed by co-workers or managers
  • Be positive, outgoing and energetic
  • Attend all meetings and training required of your department or company in general
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures expected The Remedy staff
  • Adhere to any and all protocol changes issued by management

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Working knowledge of hot tub and spa systems a plus
  • Proficiency in technology such as cell phones and basic computer skills
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. and be active for up to 85% of the workday
