Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for a person with strong verbal communication, visual inspection experience, ability to read blueprints and have mathematical skills to safely and productively assess, cut wire and pace production per policy and safety instructions set forth. High School diploma or GED and at some wire cutting experience needed (years if manufacturing can suffice this requirement). Must be able to lift 10-40lbs and stand for full duration of shift.Essential duties:
- Set up, troubleshoot, and run all 3 Schleuniger Wire Cutting machines.
- Have general arithmetic skills that include reading tape measure using both metric and standard measurements and understand tolerances.
- Must be able to read blueprints and understand the details on the prints.
- Will engage in repetitive lifting (picking up wire products), and moving with great body agility twisting and turning and bending of both body while holding wires.
- Can operate computer and hand tools such as wrenches, battery operated drills, box cutters and wrenches, etc.
- Be a self-starter/self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
- Maintain and promote a safe, positive and clean working environment.
- Work overtime as required.
