Join a leading landscape company in Tampa as a Landscape Superintendent and play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of commercial landscape installation projects. You will lead field teams, collaborate with project managers, and ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Oversee all aspects of commercial landscape installation projects, from initial site preparation to final walkthrough.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor field crews, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and exceptional workmanship.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with landscape construction project managers to ensure seamless project execution, address any issues that arise, and maintain clear communication channels.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate with subcontractors, ensuring their work meets quality standards and adheres to project timelines.
  • Resource Management: Optimize the allocation of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to verify that work is performed to specifications, ensuring a high-quality finished product.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenges that may arise during project execution.
  • Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to project managers and company leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of field experience in commercial landscape installation, including planting and hardscape construction.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of landscape installation techniques, plant materials, irrigation systems, and hardscape construction methods.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze situations, identify problems, and implement effective solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
