Job DescriptionJob Description

OP2 Labs, a 4X Inc 5000 fastest growing consumer goods company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate collection of payments from customers, maintaining customer accounts, and resolving any billing or payment discrepancies. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and contribute to the company's financial success.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain customer accounts, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation
  • Review and resolve any billing discrepancies or payment issues in a timely manner
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding invoices
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to address any customer concerns related to billing or payment
  • Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions for recovery
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and collections activities
  • Innovate and automate business process through technology as available

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance role
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including AR processes and collections
  • Proficiency in using accounting software (NetSuite) and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • A degree is not required. Our company values skills and experience over education
