🚨 Manager Emergency Services ( FSED) - Oviedo, FL

  • 💲 Competitive Salary: $90k - $110k based on experience

Overview: Become a pivotal leader at a 64-bed acute care hospital serving east Seminole County and its surrounding communities. We are committed to delivering patient-centered care across a full spectrum of services, including emergency services, cardiology, surgical inpatient units, intensive care, women’s services, and more.

Position Details:

  • 🕒 Schedule: Full-time
  • 🏥 Department: Emergency Services
  • 🚑 Service Line: Comprehensive emergency care including medical cardiology and telemetry

Job Summary: 👨️‍⚕️ As the Manager of Emergency Services, you will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care by overseeing the daily functions and staffing of the emergency department. You will play a critical role in enhancing patient safety, quality outcomes, and ensuring a superior patient experience.

Responsibilities:

  • 📊 Operationalize evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • 👥 Lead efforts to reduce clinical practice variation and improve efficiency.
  • 🛡️ Ensure adherence to standards of care and culture of accountability.
  • 🌟 Provide leadership, coaching, and training to staff.

Qualifications:

  • 🎓 BSN Required.
  • 🩺 Strong ED background with at least 3-5 years of RN and 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • 📜 Required certifications: NIH Stroke Scale, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, ACLS, APRN, BCLS, PALS (some within 30 days to 6 months of start).
