Responsibilities:
\tAs a quality technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
\tYou will work closely with the quality control team and various departments to conduct inspections, conduct testing, and maintain documentation to support our commitment to delivering safe and delicious food products.
\tPerform routine quality inspections throughout the food manufacturing process to identify any deviations from established quality standards.
\tPerform visual checks, measurements, and sensory evaluations to ensure products meet taste, appearance, and texture specifications.
\tCollect and analyze samples at various stages of production, using standard testing methods and equipment to evaluate key attributes such as weight, shape, pH, moisture content, temperature, and microbiological safety.
\tDocument and report any quality or nonconformity issues discovered during inspections and help investigate root causes.
\tMonitor and verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other relevant quality and safety regulations.
\tParticipate in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development, and engineering, to address quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
\tAssist in the development and review of quality control procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
\tKeep accurate records of test results, inspection findings, and other quality-related documentation.
\tOther roles can be assigned.
\tSupport the implementation and maintenance of quality management systems, such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
Qualifications:
\tHigh School diploma/GED.
\tExperience in a food manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
\tExperience working in a manufacturing environment.
\tMust be detail oriented and possess basic computer skills.
\tAbility to work flexible hours (on a rotating schedule with the team, at times.)
\tWillingness to work in a fast-paced environment and on weekends.
\tExperience in the Food industry
