Pittsburgh Transportation Group is hiring immediately for the position of CDL Transport Driver for our Contract Shuttle Division.

We have multiple job openings with immediate need for full-time and part-time drivers. Our part-time drivers have the flexibility to create their own schedules based on their availability or select an available fixed schedule.

Our shifts include morning, afternoon, evening/overnight, and weekends.

Our CDL Drivers provide transportation to our ridership by picking up and dropping off passengers at designated locations. This position requires a candidate that has good customer service skills along with a good driving history. Ideal candidates will have experience in the transportation industry, preferably as a driver, and a knowledge of the City of Pittsburgh and the surrounding area.

Responsibilities of a CDL Drivers:

  • Drive a shuttle passenger bus to transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently, while complaining with all Company, state and traffic regulations.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to all passengers in a safe environment.
  • Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections as required.
  • Maintain the shuttle bus by ensuring the basic interior and exterior of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis.
  • Properly report all incidents, accidents, and mechanical concerns.
  • Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.

Qualifications of a CDL Drivers:

  • 25 years of age or older.
  • A valid CDL drivers’ license with Passengers Endorsement.
  • Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Punctual with an emphasis on attendance.
