Human Resources Assistant Expectations

The HR assistant will be a highly professional and confidential individual who will report directly to the Human Resources Manager. This person will be able to effectively communicate, prioritize and execute their tasks efficiently. The HR assistant will be responsible for assisting and supporting in all areas of Human Resources as needed while living the company’s values at all times. As a representative of Leigh Enterprises, LLC, dba 1909, Toasty dba Toast and Toast Murrieta Inc, the HR assistant must be positive, personable, and efficient 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administration of Benefit Programs 
  • Assist with Onboarding/Offboarding Tasks
  • Administration of Mandatory Training Certifications 
  • Assist in Administration of Workers Compensation 
  • Assist in Administration of Employee Recordkeeping  
  • Management of Company Uniforms 
  • Assist and support the HR Manager with other tasks as needed


REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be Bilingual (Spanish & English)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
  • Must be a self-starter and driven
  • Must be Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Products 
  • Proven administrative or assistant experience
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases and/or willing to learn
