We Are Seeking: A visionary Senior Mechanical Engineer with a passion for drone technology and innovation. This role demands a blend of technical expertise and creative thinking to drive the development of our next-generation drones. You will be instrumental in designing, prototyping, and refining the mechanical systems that define our industry-leading products.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Leading the design and development of mechanical systems for our advanced drone platforms, focusing on performance, durability, and innovation.
  • Spearheading the entire product lifecycle, from conceptual design to prototyping, testing, and final production.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and software systems, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
  • Pioneering new materials and manufacturing techniques to enhance drone performance and sustainability.
  • Conducting rigorous testing and validation processes, including aerodynamic testing, stress analysis, and real-world scenario simulations.
  • Overseeing the production process, ensuring that design specifications are maintained with the highest quality standards.
  • Engaging with the broader engineering community to stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate the latest technological advancements into our products.
  • Mentoring junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning within the team.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years' experience in mechanical design, preferably in the drone or aerospace sector.
  • Demonstrates a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, with a track record of innovative design solutions.
  • Possesses excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Highly organized and proficient in managing detailed technical documentation and project timelines.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment, contributing to multidisciplinary projects with enthusiasm and expertise.
  • Proactive, with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.

Skills We Value:

  • Advanced proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar.
  • Extensive experience in the design and fabrication of mechanical systems, with a strong understanding of materials science.
  • Expertise in aerodynamics, fluid dynamics, and thermal management for high-performance drone applications.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools and methods, including 3D printing and CNC machining.
  • Experience with UAV or drone flight testing and certification processes.
