Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an IP Docketing Specialist at our Royal Oak, MI office. The IP Docketing Specialist will be responsible for receiving and analyzing incoming patent and trademark mail for U.S. and foreign patents, trademarks and copyrights, and accurately and timely docketing and/or verifying all patent/trademark communications into the firm's CPI docketing database.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 2 or more years of related experience
  • Understanding of patent law and intellectual property
  • Experience in docketing and managing intellectual property deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other members of the team
