Welcome Home Belmark is seeking individuals to join our team at our Flexible Packaging plant in De Pere, WI. You may be wondering - what do we do here at Belmark? Well, we create many of the labels, cartons, and flexible film we as consumers see daily when shopping for various items. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately mounting plates onto cylinders, washing plates and filing them according to job number. Come join our innovative, fun, and growing team today

Schedule:

  • AM shift hours are from 3:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. with a schedule of 3 days on, 1 day off, 3 days on and 7 days off
  • 12 hour shifts with consistent hours, NO SWING SHIFT
  • Work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours
  • Overtime after 36 hours
  • Employees on this shift work 36 hours and are paid for 40 hours. Many of our employees enjoy the rotating shift due to the days off received, which allows for time to accomplish things around the home and spend time with friends and family

Pay:

  • $20.40 - $24.00 per Hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.

What will I do in this role?

  • Responsible to follow all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.
  • Ensure plates are mounted accurately, according to rewind position.
  • Ensure all plates for a job are mounted in a timely manner, according to the schedule, to keep presses running at all times.
  • Ensure plates and cylinders are not damaged.
  • Ensure that the next shift presses have a least one job mounted according to the schedule to reduce the amount of downtime.
  • Wash plates from completed jobs.
  • Peel sticky back off of cylinders.
  • File plates according to job number.
  • Fill alcohol, acetate and soap bottles.
  • Ensure plate wash area and plate mounting area clean.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
  • Knowledge of the English language.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to operate a computer.
  • Ability to meet deadlines. May be required to work some overtime.
  • Requires nearly constant concentration and attention to detail.
  • Ability to: stand and walk for 90% of work time; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 10% of work time.
  • Ability to: see clearly at 20 inches or less; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
  • Ability to: use hands for 100% of work time (i.e. mounting plates, etc.); and reach above shoulders for 25% of work time of work time (i.e. filing approximately 6 ft.).
  • Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 35% of work time. (Example: placing cylinders on to and off of shelves approximately 6 ft.)
  • May move items weighing over 100 pounds.
