Job Summary:
Go-Glass would be nowhere without its successful sales team. We are looking for go-getters to meet face-to-face with our customers in their homes and help find the products and services that our customers rely on. All leads are pre-qualified from customers who call in to schedule an in-home estimate. We offer 25 leads (or more) per week and a robust marketing budget constantly generating more leads and customers. Candidate Profile:
The sales representative will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at prospecting new clients, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Occasionally tasked with attending networking events and trade shows, the sales representative must be both personable and professional.
Compensation: Salary plus commission
Training: We provide training for all team members. (Training wage will be paid).
Essential functions:
- Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers.
- Develop estimates for projects, completing take-offs to gather information
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other factors.
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on existing and potential customers.
- Collaborate with Inside Sales team members to facilitate quotes, manage workflow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process after initial estimate.
- Communicating all necessary information to Inside Sales Team via email, phone, text, and/or any other electronic form of communication.
- Requesting quotes, placing orders and follow up communication with all vendors as needed.
- Writing up and/or adjusting quotes in POS Software to send to customers with detailed information when necessary to close the sale.
- Work closely with inside sales, installations and any other departments to ensure a smooth sale to production cycle.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
- Identify prospects, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all product categories.
- Achieve sales goals by assessing current client needs and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product presentations.
- Ensure being updated on latest industry trends.
Skills & Aptitudes
- Proven Experience in Sales, Business Development, or related field preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial construction
- Meeting sales goals
- Negotiation and Client Relationship Management skills
- High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in technology especially Microsoft Office applications
Work environment
- Majority of work is completed indoors.
- May, on occasion, be exposed to the outdoors.
Physical demands
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Requires daily travel.
Travel required
- 90%-100% (surrounding areas) Take home company branded vehicle and fuel card provided.
- Coverage area for all locations: Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware, & Virginia.
Work authorization
Must be authorized to work within the United States.
