Job DescriptionJob Description

Intelligence Planner shall possess at least ten (10) years of experience as an intelligence planner, preferably in a Combatant Command and/or Service level headquarters. Preferably, the member has Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) unit experience and an understanding of electromagnetic spectrum operations

Duties will include:

Characterize the Electromagnetic Operating Environment (EMOE) as it relates to USSTRATCOM missions and equities, as requested by the Government.

Provide support to build and maintain EMOE products, and advise the JEMSO Cell (JEMSOC) director on operations opportunities and vulnerabilities within the Electromagnetic Spectrum (EMS), as requested by the Government.

Advise and assist to de-conflict and integrate efforts to produce a USSTRATCOM EMOE threat estimate with geographic CCMD EMOE threat estimates.

Advise and assist with EMSO relevant threat assessments and estimates, as requested by the Government.

Assess EMS related capabilities, shortfalls, interdependencies and vulnerabilities of adversary EMS related systems, as requested by the Government.

Provide support to coordination on the production and relevant order of battle information, as requested by the Government.

Provide intelligence planning functions in support of JEMSOC activities, as requested by the Government

Weapons School Graduate (e.g. Air Force Weapons School Intelligence Sensor and Weapons Instructor Course or Intelligence Weapons Instructor Course) or comparable experience is desired.
