Jamestown is seeking a highly motivated Associate to join our team in New York City. This individual will work closely with the Chief of Staff and leadership team to streamline operations, drive key initiatives, and ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments and regions. The Associate will report to the Chief of Staff and work within the Office of the President.


This role will work in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive and an independent thinker.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in operations, strategy, program management, and/or consulting; or,

  • Any combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Real estate experience is preferred.


Skills:

  • Highly-organized, motivated, and able to multitask effectively in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and drive organizational change.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and operate autonomously.

  • Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills. Working knowledge of real estate and financial analysis is preferred.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with the Chief of Staff in planning, coordinating, and executing strategic projects and initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes and drive efficiencies across the organization.

  • Provide organizational support to leadership, including tracking progress on annual objectives, compiling reports, organizing materials, taking meeting notes, and coordinating follow-ups.

  • Create and maintain tools and processes within the Office of the President.

  • Collaborate with different departments and ensure coordination of cross-functional and cross-regional projects and efforts.

  • Prepare briefs and analyses and conduct research to support leadership decisions.

  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners.

  • Track progress and report out to the Chief of Staff & leadership on a regular basis.

  • The role will involve travel, including last-minute travel as needed.
