Director of Operations (Medical Practice)

Elkins Park, PA

$120k-$150K

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Director of Operations to oversee the day-to-day management of our medical practice. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong ability to self-direct and take initiative. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as well as excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, including staffing, scheduling, and patient flow
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement measures to improve performance
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff members, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in healthcare administration

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to self-start, self-direct, and take initiative
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience working in a medical practice setting is preferred
