An experienced CFO is sought by our client in Carlsbad, NM. The hiring timeframe is August/Sept 2024. A local candidate is ideal, but REMOTE employment is an option. This PERMANENT, full-time job befits a service-minded leader who is a hands-on accounting “do-er”. Your talent will spearhead accounting operations. Earn annual salary upwards of $160k, plus EQUITY options, benefits, 401k, etc. This is a pivotal role within a rapidly growing company that values customer service and employee well-being. NOTE: Preference will be given to residents of Mountain and Central Time Zones.
Enjoy performing a variety of responsibilities, for example:
- Orchestrate accounting/finance operations (such as AR, AP, GL, budgeting, modeling, cashflow, forecasting, controls and metrics).
- Accomplish the closing process (month, quarter, annual).
- Produce accurate, timely financial reports.
- Develop accounting policies and procedures, in accordance with GAAP.
- Drive profitability. Analyze data, identify trends, provide insights to guide business decisions.
- Direct the complexities of compliance, insurance, audit, tax, etc.
- Oversee and train staff.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience at both Controller and CFO levels.
- Degree(s) in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Comfortable and capable of hands-on technical accounting; command of the daily details.
- GAAP knowledge.
- Technology strengths, including Excel and QuickBooks Online.
- Management experience.
- Analysis and critical thinking skills.
- Accurate. Organized.
- Self-starter. Solution-finder. Deadline-achiever.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
