Position Overview:

New Day Recovery is looking to hire a full-time Registered Nurse for Detox and Residential units at our Niles, Ohio location. New Day Recovery is changing lives each and every day in the addiction recovery community. We operate as a voluntary inpatient treatment center. Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the point person for the onsite nursing team during your shift.
  • Utilize knowledge and techniques required to interact and treat individuals with mental health/substance use disorders.
  • Effectively function as a New Day Recovery team member, relating with empathy and sensitivity to staff, clients, and the community.
  • Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Exhibit exceptional written, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
  • Exercise discretion and independent judgment in situations involving sensitive matters.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current Ohio Nursing license (RN).
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Possess and demonstrate effective organizational and supervisory skills.
  • Exhibit the empathy necessary for working with chemically dependent clients.

Physical Demands:
