What You'll Do 
A successful Billing Analyst will be responsible for analyzing billing and vendor payment-related tasks, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues through our ticketing system. This role requires proficiency in navigating various systems to retrieve and analyze data, as well as excellent communication skills to provide clear and concise responses to customers.
 
Billing Analysis:
  • Review and analyze customer billing statements to identify discrepancies or unusual charges.
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues by coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of billing data in various systems.
Vendor Payment Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze vendor payments to ensure timely and accurate processing.
  • Address and resolve payment discrepancies by liaising with vendors and internal teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of vendor transactions and communications.
Customer Support:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and support tickets related to billing and payments in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide detailed explanations and resolutions to customers regarding their accounts, billing issues, and payment status.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments or supervisors as needed.
System Navigation:
  • Utilize various software systems and databases to retrieve, analyze, and update billing and payment information.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the systems used for billing and vendor payments.
Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare regular reports on billing and payment activities, highlighting any issues or trends.
  • Document all customer interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system.

What you’ll need to be successful
Minimum of 4 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, or a related field. Minimum High School Diploma/GED. Preferred A.S or B.A degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshdesk) and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle) is a plus.

Working Conditions:
  • This is a full-time remote position.
  • Standard office hours with occasional need for extended hours during peak periods.
