About the Role
Yieldstreet is seeking an Analyst with an operations background to join our Regulated Funds Team. This role will focus on a wide array of oversight and execution tasks related to the management of Yieldstreet's regulated funds. You will collaborate closely with senior and junior cross-functional team members and external partners to ensure the continuity, accuracy, and efficiency of the day-to-day operations and communication of events within our regulated funds. This role will report directly to the Fund's Controller.
What you'll do
- Communicate trade activities to our fund administrator.
- Handle queries and issues related to trade settlements and discrepancies.
- Assist in the communication of post-close events within the fund's investments.
- Perform daily reconciliations of cash and positions.
- Review and reconcile subscriptions and redemptions.
- Coordinate the tender offer process.
- Coordinate the quarterly dividend process.
- Assist with tax reporting for investors (1099).
- Manage production calendar for filings of the Fund.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's Degree required, with a focus on Business Management, Accounting, or Finance.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
- Understanding of private equity and private credit principles and terminology.
- 2-3+ years of experience working with regulated funds in an operational or administrative capacity.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Analytical and curious mindset, capable of understanding the details of all requests on your desk and asking the right questions to evaluate priority.
- Ability to work at the pace of a venture-backed, hyper-growth organization, where you'll need to think and act strategically and independently, all while delivering high-quality work output.
