Sobre la posición

La función principal del instructor de español de pre kínder de lenguaje dual es brindar instrucción en el aula que ayude a los estudiantes de pre kínder a aprender. Para lograr esto, los instructores deben crear un ambiente de aprendizaje rico y seguro, preparar lecciones efectivas, evaluar el progreso de los estudiantes y ofrecer comentarios, administrar los materiales del salón de clases, navegar productivamente por el plan de estudios y colaborar y planificar con otros miembros del personal. Todos los instructores de PK se reportan directamente al Jefe de División, al Subdirector y al Director de la escuela. El instructor también necesita defender la misión y los valores de Community Academies of New Orleans en todas las interacciones entre estudiantes y familias para garantizar que nuestro compromiso promueva la excelencia académica y éxito.


Servicios esenciales del trabajo

  • Planificar e implementar instrucción de alta calidad de acuerdo con el modelo de lenguaje dual, en el idioma designado, que garantice el logro de los estándares de aprendizaje de nivel de grado apropiado.

  • Establecer y comunicar objetivos claros de contenido y lenguaje para todas las actividades de aprendizaje.

  • Planificación conjunta y coordinación de la instrucción en el aula con los miembros del equipo de nivel de grado (para los dos idiomas designado), personal y la administración.

  • Proporcionar una evaluación continua de los estudiantes a través de informes de calificaciones programados regularmente y conferencias con los padres.

  • Establecer y construir una gran relación con estudiantes para proporcionar un ambiente de aprendizaje excelente y emocionante en el idioma designado.

  • Preparar a los estudiantes adecuadamente para todas las evaluaciones requeridas.

  • Participar en el manejo efectivo y adecuado del aula.

  • Participar en el desarrollo profesional continuo, incluidas varias modalidades de entrenamiento; recibir y proporcionar crítica importante y aprendizaje en el salón de clases; participar en reuniones de equipos de nivel de grado y reuniones enfocadas en los estudiantes

  • Manténgase actualizado sobre los desarrollos y requisitos continuos del Departamento de Educación de Louisiana en relación con la responsabilidad escolar, la evaluación y el plan de estudios y las mejores prácticas de lenguaje dual.

  • Actualice todos los registros necesarios de manera precisa y completa según lo exijan las leyes, las políticas del distrito y los reglamentos escolares.

  • Preparar los informes requeridos sobre los estudiantes y las actividades. · Participar en reuniones departamentales, escolares, distritales y de padres.

  • Comunicar la información necesaria regularmente a los estudiantes, colegas y padres sobre el progreso y las necesidades de los estudiantes.

  • Promover la participación de familias por medio del desarrollo de una asociación con los guardianes a través de una comunicación positiva continua y otras actividades que fomenten la participación activa en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes en el idioma designado.

  • Adherirse a las expectativas de Justicia Restaurativa para manejar las relaciones y comportamientos de los estudiantes

  • Licenciatura en Educación Infantil, Educación Primaria o equivalente

  • Dominio fluido del español oral
