This is a full-time, non-remote position ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic. The role of Warehouse Assembly Orderfiller requires a hands-on approach to the packaging and shipping of our live insects. This position requires physical dexterity and the ability to work under varying schedule demands. By joining our shipping team, you will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our distribution system, ensuring pets receive nutritious and enjoyable insects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Efficiently fill and manage orders with accuracy, speed, and care.
  • Handle and package live insects, ensuring their safety and quality during transit.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment to comply with safety standards.
  • Operate packaging machinery and equipment, including a box cutter and tape gun.
  • Conduct inventory counts and assist in stock management to prevent discrepancies and shortages.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process.
  • Communicate effectively with superiors and peers to ensure information is relayed promptly and accurately.
  • Follow all company guidelines and procedures with attention to safety and operational protocols.
  • Adapt to flexible working hours based on shipping schedules and company needs.
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and quality standards under time pressures.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a dusty environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
  • Ability to stand in place, squat, kneel, bend, and carry frequently.
  • Ability to problem solve and follow detailed directions.
  • Ability to understand and speak English effectively.
  • Ability to count to 100 and perform simple math calculations.
  • Proficiency in using a box cutter and tape gun safely and effectively.
  • Ability to perform duties with accuracy, care, and speed.
  • Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
  • Must have a keen attention to detail.
  • Must be comfortable and able to work directly with and handle live insects.
Salary: Starting at $16.00 per hour
Shift: Sunday - Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Note: Hours may fluctuate based on the shipping schedules and company needs.
