We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead the Landscape Maintenance division. This executive role is designed for a driven leader who excels in enhancing sales performance and expanding business territories. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing strategic sales initiatives that align with our company's goals for growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and execute advanced sales strategies to drive business growth and increase market share in the landscape maintenance industry.
  2. Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a sales team to achieve exceptional performance levels through motivation, coaching, and professional development.
  3. Client Acquisition and Retention: Identify potential clients, cultivate new relationships, and maintain existing ones to ensure a robust pipeline and enhance client satisfaction.
  4. Financial Management: Oversee sales forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure alignment with business objectives. Manage resources to optimize financial outcomes and profitability.
  5. Market Analysis and Business Intelligence: Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify emerging opportunities for expansion and innovation in service offerings.
  6. Operational Oversight: Collaborate with operations to ensure that the sales strategies are feasible and implemented efficiently, maximizing customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
  7. Sustainability and Innovation: Promote sustainable practices within the sales strategies and operations, positioning the company as a leader in environmentally responsible landscape maintenance.
  8. Performance Metrics: Define and measure success through key performance indicators (KPIs) that reflect sales targets, client retention, and market expansion.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior management and cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall company objectives.
  10. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with landscape maintenance sales and market dynamics.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a sales executive with a minimum of five years in a leadership role, preferably in the landscape maintenance or related industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and lead a team towards achieving aggressive goals.
  • Strong financial acumen and capability to manage sales budgets and forecasts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for building relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
