Homemaker and Companionship Care Giver

Nexus Care Services is currently seeking homemakers and companion caregivers to join its ever-growing team in the Four Corners of Polk, Orange, Lake, and Osceola counties.

The ideal candidate should be compassionate, attentive, and able to provide companionship to ensure that our clients live safe and healthy lives in the comfort of their own homes. As a companion, you will be responsible for providing emotional support to our clients daily. This includes basic housekeeping duties, preparing meals, helping clients engage in activities and social events, as well as providing shopping services, and other duties to help clients feel safe and supported.

Our rates start from $18 per hour.

Requirements

● High school graduate or G.E.D certificate preferred.

● Completion of a written Competency Evaluation.

● Level 2 background check.

● Basic Care Certification.

● Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.

● Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile.

● Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English/or client’s language.

● Strong communication, listening, planning, housekeeping, and reasoning skills.

● Health and safety for supporting clients to stand, and walk.
