The admission assistant will assume a critical role within the admission office. The assistant will support the day-to-day running of the admission office. Reporting to the associate director of enrollment, the admission assistant will assist with and coordinate in-person and virtual programming and provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere to internal and external constituents. Position start date will be July 1, 2024.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Oversee day-to-day management of admission letters, mailings, and packages

  • Answer phones and assist parents with their questions

  • Assist with processing documents and serve as liaison between admission and student services

  • Maintain inventory and take initiative on re-ordering supplies as needed

  • Schedule student visits and arrange meetings for students and parents

  • Participate in the planning and execution of various on-campus and virtual programming, including but not limited to Open House, Invite Back Weekend and Opening Day

  • Assist with the coordination of Woodberry Parents and Alumni Assisting Woodberry (PAAW) program

  • Occasional weekend work and other duties as assigned
