Volunteer Behavioral Health in Chattanooga, TN, is looking for a dedicated full-time LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. ABOUT THIS ROLE

This full-time nursing position operates Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, providing you with a predictable and balanced work schedule. As an LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse, you will focus on providing essential medication management services to individuals with mental health diagnoses. Your day will involve administering prescribed medications, including injections, and monitoring patients' vital signs and overall health progress. You will collect samples for routine tests, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with billing and licensure requirements. Acting as a liaison with external providers, you will assist with patient advocacy and medication education. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team will be crucial as you support integrated care between behavioral health and primary care

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN LPN - LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee without any restrictions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
