Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCardinal Staffing Services, is immediately hiring for an experienced CNC Machine Programmer for a large manufacturing client located in Clinton Township, MI. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met.Cardinal Staffing Services, is invested in their team members All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18.00/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts: 1st Shift (Min 52 hours a week) Monday - Friday
Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:
  • Makes calculations for programming multiple CAD systems
  • Set up and checks programs by running first piece
  • Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required
  • Study work orders, sample parts, blueprints, and drawings, to determine tools, methods and sequences of operations needed to machine products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances
  • Ability to setup, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC machines without assistance. Must be self sufficient.
  • Confer with production supervisor, or manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
  • Maintains safe work habits by adherence to safety policies referenced in the company policy manual including following Federal, State and Local regulations
Preferred Qualifications of the CNC Machine Operator:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Associate’s degree in CNC programming, a computer-related field or a mechanical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer programming or computer-related field.
  • Knowledge/Experience of HURCO machine programming
