Marketing Assistant/Physician Relations: Part-time position

 

Job Summary:  To promote Nesin Therapy to physicians, clients, and the community and generate awareness of our commitment to the patient experience and utilization of a holistic approach.


Duties and Responsibilities

Physician Relations

  • Increasing awareness of Nesin’s services through independent physician visits
  • Seeking identification of service improvement opportunities with physicians and office staff
  • Scheduling appointments/lunches and coordinating with therapists’ schedule to accompany team member on physician’s visit
  • Compiling and distributing necessary information to physicians
  • Developing and maintaining a good rapport with medical professionals in the Huntsville and Madison area.

Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support for marketing initiatives to include printing, preparing, and distributing marketing materials for internal and external audiences.

Database and List Maintenance

  • Logging visits in Excel spreadsheets, keeping contacts updated, tracking referral information, and more.

Correspondence with Physicians, Clients, and Community Contacts

  • Phone calls, thank you cards, gift baskets, etc., on behalf of Nesin Therapy Services.

Event Support

  • Assist in identifying contacts, coordinating Nesin’s participation, arranging payment, scheduling attendees/speakers/volunteers (depending on the type of event), distributing event details to attendees/speakers/volunteers, gathering promotional materials, and site set-up.  
  • Examples of events include speaking engagements, health fairs, community events, Chamber of Commerce, and other business organization events, and races. 

Graphics and Promotional Materials

  •  Maintain creatives for marketing materials, including social media and other marketing graphics, brochures, flyers, banners, and promotional items.

Nesin PR initiatives

  • Examples of PR initiatives include PT month, Game Week during football season, Clinic Supply Drive, Referral program, holiday activities including donation drives, and other special projects.

 

Nesin Therapy’s PR/Marketing Team currently consists of one full-time and one part-time position.  These team members work closely with one another and the CEO to accomplish the above-listed job functions and more.  The team members are directly supervised by the Marketing & PR Director, under the purview of the CEO.  


Qualifications

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or in place of a degree, relevant experience
  • Some graphic design experience preferred, or the desire to learn

Skills

  • Maintain professional demeanor
  • Maintain effective communication skills, including creative writing, grammar, spelling, and verbal
  • Maintain a creative and effective approach to developing and fostering good customer relationships
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, computer operation, and other office equipment, with the ability to learn additional software programs
  • Able to provide superior customer service

Location & Hours

  • Must be flexible and able to work in any one of our 4 locations
  • Participation in evening and weekend activities, with flexible adjustments in the workweek schedule to accommodate for after-hours events as agreed upon with the supervisor.  
  • Part-time position, 25-29 hours per week

Other Qualifications

  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Maintain a current and valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
  • Dependable transportation for frequent in-town travel and occasional travel within a 100-mile radius - NTS provides mileage reimbursement for work-related travel 
  • Maintain a professional appearance and behavior
  • Must be a citizen of the USA or eligible to work in the USA
