Manage document control and maintain compliance with GMP regulations.Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure product quality meets specifications before market release.
  2. Oversee relevant testing and approve products for sale.
  3. Investigate product quality complaints and implement corrective actions.
  4. Manage and train QA personnel, ensuring all duties are up to date.
  5. Administer QA/QC documents and manage change control systems.
  6. Assist with FDA/Contract Manufacturer audits and annual product reports.
  7. Write, update, and review SOPs and maintain compliance with GMP regulations.
  8. Track and audit batch records, investigations, and customer complaints.
  9. Supervise QA personnel and evaluate their performance.
  10. Approve or reject product deviations and reprocessing as needed.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  1. Direct and evaluate the QA team, handling hiring, training, performance appraisals, and resolving issues in line with company policies and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
  1. Education: Master’s degree (M.S.) in a scientific discipline.
  2. Experience: 5+ years in Quality Assurance/Quality Control, including batch record release, CAPA initiation, and deviation investigations.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Physical Demands:
  1. Frequent sitting, using hands, and occasional standing or walking.
  2. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  3. Specific vision abilities including close and distance vision.
Work Environment:
  1. Exposure to herbal powder fumes; generally quiet noise levels.
