POSITION SUMMARY

Jireh Semiconductor in Hillsboro, OR is looking for an experience Industrial Engineer

This person will be responsible for optimizing operations by analyzing fab constraints, driving improvements, and maintaining inventory balance to support customer needs and company profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Sets daily Fab tactics to highlight key tool groups and action items and reviews previous day's performance
  • Maximizes equipment output by modeling theoretical capacity, including expected availability, utilization, and tool efficiency.
  • Develops models, databases and spreadsheet to analyze data and establish/track key business intelligence (BI) / Key performance indicator (KPI).
  • Owns IE projects for specific production area(s), identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements with manufacturing, process and equipment groups.
  • Analyzes constraints to optimize Fab utilization and efficiency.
  • Provides operational cost structure for various tool configurations, product mixes, and technology platforms.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Minimum Bachelor / Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operation Research, Management Science or related field.
  • 1-3 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience with Workstream is a significant plus.
  • Experience with Postgres and VBA is a significant plus.

QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient at MS Suite.
  • Experience with expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, and manufacturing safety practices.
  • Solid analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to support 24-hour operation.
  • Self-motivated and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
