Compliance & Risk Analyst

- Performs job duties in accordance with the guidelines set forth in credit union bylaws and polices.

- Performs reviews of selected compliance process and functions to ensure efficiency.

- Performs increased due diligence and review of specialized accounts to include Marijuana Related Businesses

- Review, Analyze, File, and Track BSA reporting to include CTR's, SAR's, and other FINCEN reporting

- Manages the daily activities of compliance related issues, fielding requests/calls from all business units of the credit union regarding Business accounts, Power of Attorneys, Deceased accounts, etc.

- Maintain knowledge related to industry events, trends and technology which may affect the credit union.

- Coordinates the credit union's overall compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and statutory requirements; including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, TILA, RESPA, HMDA, and USA Patriot Act. Provide insight, interpretation and guidance on regulatory issues to management and employees.

- Process, track, and manage receipt of garnishments and subpoenas while ensuring timely and accurate responses.

- Identify accounts due for escheatment based on individual state rules and laws to ensure funds are properly escheated by state-imposed deadlines.

- Assists in the development and administration of a comprehensive compliance program that ensures Live Life FCU is compliant with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

- Establishes and assists in the maintenance of compliance procedures.

- Reviews the credit union programs, policies, and procedures. Analyzes and monitors program for compliance.

- Performs other duties as assigned.
