Assistant Superindendent

Under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent the assistant directs and participates in the maintenance of the golf course and grounds, participates and supervises in the maintenance of equipment and does related work as required. The assistant may serve in the Superintendents capacity during his/her absence.

•Provides exceptional customer service
•Assists in planning and supervising the maintenance of greens, tees and fairways
•Schedules work and supervises employees and the use of equipment
•Instructs equipment operators on the operation and care of equipment
•Supervises and participates in pesticide applications
•Supervises and participates in fertilizer applications
•Maintenance of drainage and irrigation systems
•Assist in personnel management and evaluation
•Enforces company policies
•Emphasizes safety in the workplace
•Modify work schedules as needed
•Lead by having outstanding work ethic
•Working knowledge of maintenance and cultural practices on the golf course
•Prepare concise reports
•Maintain effective employee and public relations
•Others duties as assigned.
