Job DescriptionJob Description

As a Recruiter at Panera Bread, you will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring top talent to support our growing business. You will partner with managers to understand their staffing needs, source and engage with potential candidates, and manage the recruitment process from start to finish. Your goal will be to ensure we have a diverse and talented pool of candidates who align with our company values and culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions, including both corporate and field roles.
  • Talent Sourcing: Utilize various sourcing methods such as job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to find qualified candidates.
  • Candidate Screening: Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and assess candidate qualifications and fit for Panera Bread.
  • Interview Coordination: Schedule and conduct interviews, and facilitate the interview process between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers to understand their needs and provide strategic guidance throughout the recruitment process.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely communication and feedback throughout the hiring process.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, and provide regular reports on recruitment metrics.
  • Employer Branding: Promote Panera Bread as an employer of choice through participation in job fairs, career events, and online platforms.



Qualifications:

  • 3-4 years recruiting experience or equivalent education required.
  • Proven experience as a recruiter or similar role, preferably in the food service or retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Must be able to exhibit a friendly and enthusiastic personality.
  • Ability to conduct professional and effective phone conversations.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
