The Service Delivery Supervisor is responsible for the on-time and on-budget installation of all SymplyFi IT services and projects in a manner that exceeds the expectations of our customers.

This is a technical supervision role that will oversee internal service techs and contract field service techs to ensure a consistent service installation process that meets our SLAs.


The ideal candidate will have current experience as an IT service supervisor or manager with project coordination responsibilities, be a great communicator and possess a good understanding of IT network and systems fundamentals.

As a supervisor you will be responsible for creating scope of work, scope templates and the service delivery process documents used by the team.

Please note: This is a full-time in office position and is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the provisioning and on-site installation of SymplyFi services at our customer locations

  • Project needs assessment, scoping, scheduling, coordination and communication

  • Develop and maintain service delivery process documentation and scope of work templates

  • Hands-on technical supervision of internal service delivery technicians

  • Procurement, coordination and supervision of on-demand field service technicians

  • Provide technical vendor account management of suppliers and related inventory

  • Other service delivery duties and responsibilities as needed



Requirements

Experience we expect you to have

  • 6 years of overall IT service, IT Support, IT Project Coordination or other relevant IT experience in a professional business environment
  • 3 years of experience as a technical field services supervisor, manager or other directly relevant supervisor position
  • 3 years of experience successfully planning, coordinating and managing remote IT service installations
  • 3 years of experience creating scope of work for field service techs and service delivery process documentation
  • 3 years of experience with customer, supplier and contractor relationship management
  • Understanding of IT networking and systems fundamentals
  • Exemplary business writing, communication and documentation abilities
  • A passion for getting things done on time, on budget and with the success of the customer in mind.

DESIRED SKILLS - experience we would like but is not required

  • Experience with the installation or support of retail POS Systems

  • Experience with Video Surveillance deployments

  • Experience in the retail or restaurant industry

  • Field services experience at an MSP or telecom service provider
