SUMMARY

Serves as the SME for financial, materials management, and accounting applications, facilitating interactions, optimization, and automation. Acts as the main point of contact for departments, facilities, and vendors, providing day-to-day support and expertise regarding these system functionalities. Manages projects related to implementations, enhancements, integrations, system analysis, and reporting for business and financial systems. Provides systems training and develops training materials, including videos and documents. Create and maintain detailed work plans, tracking target dates, resource requirements, responsibilities, and project statuses. Collaborate with development teams to implement custom reports as required. Support the creation, distribution, and training for system-generated reporting. Provides data for financial audits.

Oversees the Item Master of Medical and Surgical supplies. Including but not limited to Item creation, pricing, audits, standardization, and maintaining patient billable rules per industry standards.

Processes any addition and change requests to the vendor master and general ledger.

Oversees the complete IT assets lifecycle, including tracking, recording, and maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses, and equipment.

Ensures accurate coding and processing of IT invoices, precise allocation of costs to respective facilities, departments, or projects. Prioritize invoices based on business needs and urgency, ensuring accurate record-keeping. Notifies suppliers about the status and timing of their invoice payment.

Assists the Finance department with Month/Year-End closing and resolving balance discrepancies.

Supports year-end inventories of materials management across all facilities. Aid the Materials Management department with Purchase Order audits, creations, and standardization.

In addition to primary responsibilities with financial and material applications and systems, the position is a member of the service desk team (business, clinical, and financial) and will provide backup coverage and support for other systems that could include but are not limited to: Abbott, Ability, ADP, All Scripts, NetHealth, Curaspan, Docusign, Dr First, Expensify, Intersystems, Matrixcare, Mealtracker, Navihealth, Pyxis, UniPOC, and Wellsky Interactant. Must always adhere to service level agreement standards and SOWs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in system implementations, upgrades, and/or IT support, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Positive attitude, and ability to deal with difficult situations. Eagerness to take on new assignments and learn new systems/concepts.
  • Initiative in systems analysis/tasks such as enhancing system performance and/or optimizing department processes.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with a highlight in customer service.
  • Problem solving/troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
  • Position may require travel based on assigned projects.

Bonus:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft systems and support.
  • Knowledge or prior experience with Healthcare industry software
