Refrigeration Technicians

You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally across every area of our client's facility and influence company performance by maintaining their equipment. Their Refrigeration Technicians are vital to maintaining their Team Members safety through problem solving and proactive upkeep. It is a fast-paced work environment, where every day is different, and they invest in the continued growth and skills of their Refrigeration Technicians.

Our client is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5000 for all new hires for their Maintenance Roles

Pay is determined by experience and is paid weekly

Both day and night positions are available.

Hours are: 5p-5a and 5a-5p

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team
• Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment
• Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed
• Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
• Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment
• Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals
• Minimize downtime due to equipment failure

Requirements:

• Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including experience with ammonia refrigeration systems
  • Applicants will be considered for Associate Refrigeration Technicians, General Refrigeration Technicians, and Sr Refrigeration Technicians level openings
  • Leveling is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Communication Skills: Effective communication and basic math skills required
