Are you seeking a dynamic and fulfilling career in security? Excelsior Defense, Inc. invites dedicated and experienced individuals to apply for the position of Armed Security Officer. We are looking for a diligent, highly skilled officer for our open post in Sarasota, FL.

Excelsior Defense, Inc. was founded in January 1999, and at present we have over 480 employees. Our corporate office has been operating for 25 years and is located at 2660 5th Avenue North, St. Petersburg Florida. We also have Branch Offices located in Orlando and Gainesville region of Florida.

Position: Armed Security Officer
Location: Sarasota, Florida
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 per hour + average of 8 Overtime hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Protect and secure designated premises, ensuring the safety of clients, employees, and visitors.
  • Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to prevent and detect any security threats.
  • Utilize advanced security equipment and follow established protocols for incident response.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with law enforcement agencies when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Valid Florida Class G Armed security guard license and Class D Security Guard License.
  • Prior experience in armed security or law enforcement (preferred).
  • Proficient in handling firearms and emergency response procedures.
  • Strong communication and observational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent physical condition and stamina.
