Landscaper/sprinkler technician

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAxiom Maintenance Services is looking for a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team to perform upkeep tasks such as lawn maintenance and sprinkler repair. You will be responsible for applying weekly landscaping of many properties as well has maintaining/installing the sprinkler systems.
Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must also possess manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Landscape Worker Job Responsibilities:
● Inspects the grounds, and equipment.● Handles necessary repairs and maintenance.● Installs sprinklers and maintains systems.● Follows local and state codes.● Complies with all company safety regulations.● Keeps a log and writes shift reports.● Reports any issues to the maintenance manager or clients.● Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.● Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed.● Follows written and verbal instructions from the maintenance manageror clients.● Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.● Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.● Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, and electric tools.● Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties.● Perform repairs, installations of landscapes and sprinklers, andreplacement of damaged systems.● Diagnose and repair problems with landscaping, ground grading, and watersystems.● Be on-call to respond to emergency issues
Maintenance Worker Qualifications and Skills:● Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending,pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.● Physical ability to bend, crouch, and lift objects throughout the workday● Communicates effectively.● Collaborates with maintenance workers, maintenance managers, and contractors.
Education and Experience Requirements:● At least two years of landscaping experience required.● Certifications in landscaping, arborists or similar categories is a plus.● Must have a driver’s license and a clean driving record.● High school diploma or GED certificate
